The countdown has begun for the Istanbul Comics and Art Festival.

The countdown has begun for the "Istanbul Comics and Art Festival " (ICAF), Turkey's comprehensive festival of comics and visual arts.
Organized by Dream Sales Machine for the 9th time, the festival will take place in Moda-Cevizlik. This year's theme is "play," and disciplines such as comics, cartoons, illustration, and street art will be reinterpreted around the concept of play. Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to browse the stands of comic book shops, publishing houses, fanzines, and independent publications. The event, which will feature works by national and international artists, as well as workshops, talks, live drawings, murals, and graffiti, aims to provide participants with a multidisciplinary artistic space. INDEPENDENT ARTISTS ARE ALSO AT THE FESTIVAL This year, the festival, which allocates a large space to independent artists, aims to give visibility to the works of experienced artists as well as those who have just begun producing. First held in Kadıköy in 2016, the festival this year will feature approximately one hundred artists exhibiting their works over two days. As part of the festival, talks will be held with collector İlker Aksungar, comic book artist Devrim Kunter, the Toyart.ist project, Emre Karacan, and Murat Kalkavan.
