The Integrated Territorial Development Program (ITDP) will be expanded with a new section in the northeast of Moscow. The reorganization project has been posted for public discussion on the city government website.
"On Bolshaya Marfinskaya Street, as part of the redevelopment of a territory of 1.03 hectares, it is planned to build a modern residential complex to implement the renovation program with a total area of over 34 thousand square meters. In addition, it is planned to improve and plant greenery on the site of the future development. This is already the 22nd project in the north-east of the capital, developed by the city and published on the website of the Moscow government," said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction.
He added that within the framework of the KRT program, it is planned to transform territories with a total area of over 274 hectares in the district, which will create more than 42 thousand new jobs.
The site is located in an area with developed infrastructure - nearby is Ostankino Park, Ostankino Oak Forest and the Botanical Garden. Within walking distance are schools, kindergartens, clinics, shops and the Fonvizinskaya metro station.
Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky reported that more than 21 thousand square meters of housing will be built within the framework of the project, which will provide apartments for about 700 city residents.
The KRT program is being implemented on the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin. He previously ordered that the pace of its implementation be doubled.
