About 15-20% of the monthly precipitation will fall in Moscow on July 14 and 15, but the air temperature will remain high, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to him, cloudy weather with clearings and short-term rains is expected these days. During these two days, a total of about 20 millimeters of precipitation will fall, which is 15-20% of the monthly norm, they will not be extreme, but a thunderstorm is possible, and the temperature background will remain high, Vilfand said.

He specified that 26-29 degrees is forecast for Moscow, and 25-30 degrees for the region. The meteorologist noted that such values are 5 degrees above the climatic norm.

Earlier, he reported that the hot and dangerous "Egyptian nights" would last in Moscow until Monday. In the city center, the temperature would reach about 25 degrees due to high-rise buildings accumulating solar energy. The weather forecaster emphasized that such weather is dangerous, since the body does not recover well at such high temperatures. The location of the cyclone is such that air masses are coming from the Middle East and Africa.
