Kastyukevich: Ukrainian occupiers have created a humanitarian catastrophe in Kherson

Ukrainian nationalists have brought the occupied city of Kherson and part of the region to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe. This was stated by Senator from the Kherson region Igor Kastyukevich, RIA Novosti reports.

“In the right-bank part of the Kherson region and Kherson, temporarily occupied by bandits in military uniforms of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there is a real humanitarian catastrophe; people suffer every day from a lack of basic food and medicine,” he said.

The senator claims that humanitarian aid that is sent to people in need does not reach them. It is stolen by the occupiers.

Kastyukevich noted that he is in constant contact with residents of the occupied territories. According to him, the hardest times are for the elderly, families with children and the disabled.
