Laura Pausini opens her own museum in her childhood home

Italian singer Laura Pausini used her Instagram page this Monday (8) to talk about the inauguration of her museum, which took place last Sunday (7) in her hometown, Solarolo, in Emilia-Romagna.
For the launch of the Laura Pausini Museum, the artist cut a white ribbon in front of the walls of what was once her family home and later the headquarters of her official fan club.
"It was in this house that it all began," the artist wrote in the caption of a video that reveals images of the ceremony, adding that "today, it becomes a place that holds my memories, my music, but, above all, the love that you [the fans] have given me throughout all these years. If it weren't for you by my side, none of this would have been possible."
The video, in which Pausini appears on stage addressing her admirers, reveals some interior shots of the place, as well as many memorabilia. She jokes: "I'm not dead, but the museum already exists."
In the post, the singer also thanked her team, family and all the people "who worked with dedication and love to make the inauguration possible, despite the difficulties experienced after the floods that hit my Emilia-Romagna" last year.
"We were on top of a wall to see the sea of people at his house. It was emotional to see the ribbon cutting together with his father," said a social media user on Pausini's Instagram profile.
Another admirer wrote in the same post: "Today, in her land, in her place, in her world, I saw that little girl again, full of hope, wanting to see the same magic again, like in times gone by."
The Laura Pausini Museum will open to visitors on September 13th, with free admission for members of her official fan club. Non-members will need to purchase a ticket.
