The Shelter on Szczeliniec is a unique place – it is located at an altitude of 905 m above sea level in the north-western part of the Szczeliniec Wielki platform, the highest peak of the Table Mountains. It is the only shelter in the Sudetes that cannot be reached by car or bike.
Recently, it made a unique offer to job seekers. The interest was overwhelming.

"If you are a responsible, committed person who is ready to work in a unique place, we are waiting for your application. We need people who can start work no later than May 25 and work at least until the end of June. There is a possibility of employment until the end of October," we read.
Candidates had to be organized, meticulous and like working with documents. Their tasks will include handling email correspondence, simple administrative work, and helping to organize the work of the shelter. In addition to "fair pay," during the period of employment they can count on "free accommodation, utilities and meals (including delicious coffee and waffles!)".
A few days later, it turned out that a lot of applications came in, and the manager noticed that the candidates had tried very hard. "Thank you again for your interest in working at our shelter! We can't wait to welcome new members of our team with a view of the mountains!" - we read.

The “Na Szczelińcu” shelter was built in 1845 and is the oldest shelter in the Sudetes. You don’t need to buy a ticket for the tourist route to get there. The paid section starts behind it. The facility has 36 beds in a tourist standard.
In front of the building you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains with Śnieżka, the Owl Mountains, the Kamienne Mountains and the Broumov Walls.
