Birmingham to Pay Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with Special Event

On Wednesday, July 30, a hearse carrying the rocker's body will pass through the center of Birmingham, Ozzy Osbourne's hometown. Fans will be able to pay their respects. A private funeral will be held afterward.

The funeral procession will travel along Broad Street, one of Birmingham's main thoroughfares. The procession will begin at 1 p.m., according to Birmingham City Council. The procession will end at the bridge, which is named after Black Sabbath, the band in which Osbourne was a vocalist. The event, which is being funded by Osbourne's family, will feature a performance by the local brass band Bostin' Brass.
