These are the four Spanish beaches that made it onto the list of the 100 best in the world, according to a panel of six experts.

Summer, the perfect time of year for enjoying the beach , is fast approaching. Aware of this, the Mexican brewery Corona has compiled a list of the 100 best beaches in the world , and four Spanish beaches have made it onto the list.

To select these 100 beaches, Corona assembled a panel of six experts who voted on their selections. The jury includes a photographer, two divers, a surfer, an ocean conservationist, and a travel journalist.

These are the four Spanish beaches on the list:

Valdevaqueros Beach, Tarifa

According to the jury, "Tarifa is a meeting point for seas, currents, and cultures , creating an eclectic and lively beach experience, and Playa de Valdevaqueros is the cornerstone."

Cala Macallereta, Menorca

Of this famous Menorcan cove, the jury says: "Follow a dusty path through pine trees and cliffs, descend to a corner of impossible blue , and swim toward a stillness that seems like a guarded secret."

Ses Illetes, Formentera

Of this Balearic beach, the jury members say: "Sail, take off your shoes, and walk through waters so crystal-clear they'll seem like a dream you don't want to wake up from."

Cala Jondal, Ibiza

"Cala Jondal is the party island's most popular attraction. VIP guests, Michelin-starred chefs, and renowned DJs. And yet, the real star of the show is the sunset," says the jury.
