On Friday 4th July the roots of Hierbamala will be playing in Materia : the historic band from Varese, founded in 1997, will be the guest on the stage in via Confalonieri.

Between a song and a chat, the group retraces their sound trajectory live, made of Italian reggae, mixed soul, rocksteady and Balkan incursions. An encounter with one of the most long-lived and mobile souls of the local alternative scene , capable of crossing generations and genres while remaining faithful to an idea of music as a collective, resistance and celebration. The interview — enriched by some musical interventions — opens the musical program of July at Materia , which every Friday continues to tell the story of live music in all its forms.
