70 works by Salvador Dalì, the master of surrealism, on display in Vieste

About 70 works dedicated to the master of surrealism Salvador Dalì will be on display in the community library of Vieste (Foggia) from July 11 to August 31. The exhibition, organized by the Municipality of Vieste in collaboration with Giuseppe Benvenuto, curator of the exhibition, offers a selection of about sixty works, in addition to exhibition material that enriches and completes the museum itinerary, all from the Dalí Universe collection.

Among the works present are also museum sculptures, watercolors, lithographs, etchings and photographs. There will also be covers of vintage magazines and posters autographed by Salvador Dalí that enrich and complete the exhibition to better testify the close connection between the surrealist method - of which Dalí was one of the main exponents - and the psychoanalytic revolution. "With Dalí we close a circle that is actually a spiral: each exhibition has moved the center of gravity of our cultural thought higher", says Graziamaria Starace, curator of the cultural programming of the Municipality.
