2025 Call for Internships at the National Registry: How to apply from any region in Colombia?
The National Civil Registry will open a new call for applications on September 1, 2025, for students enrolled in undergraduate programs in professional, technical, and technological fields to complete internships with Colombian state entities.
The offer is open to all national public interested in completing their internship at the state agency. However, these internships will be held exclusively at the Registry's headquarters, located in Bogotá.

How to apply for the call?
Interested parties should send an email to the National Registry, attaching a total of seven scanned documents consolidated into a PDF file.
Interested parties may submit the requested documentation from September 1 to September 5, 2025.
Required documentation
  • Resume
  • Letter issued by the educational institution, specifying the student's identification (first name, last name, academic program, and current semester), as well as the technical requirements related to the internship to be completed and the academic average.
  • Copy of the citizenship card.
  • Copy of student ID.
  • Certificate of affiliation to the EPS.
  • Completed authorization form for the processing of personal data.
The files must be attached and sent to the following email address: [email protected], with the subject line: Application for internship, the profession you are studying, and the code of the vacancy you wish to apply for.

Aspects to take into account in the call
The entity clarifies that applicants must take the following aspects into account to avoid being excluded from the process and to meet the parameters established in the Colombian government's offer.
  • The internship will not be financially compensated.
  • The applicant may only apply for one position.
  • The email must specify the student's full name, the application they are applying for, their profession, and their undergraduate degree.
  • The call is for internships only; applications from those interested in serving as judges will not be accepted.
  • Selected students will be notified directly through contact numbers or through the educational institution.
  • It is not mandatory for the educational center to have a prior agreement with the Colombian State entity.
  • The selected student will be affiliated with an ARL by the entity.
  • The length of the internship will depend on the requirements of the educational institution. However, the duration may not be shorter or longer than that stipulated by Colombian law, nor may it be extendable.
Criteria for selecting students
Participants will be selected based on a score, which will be divided into three specific aspects . Each parameter will have a minimum and maximum score, based on the assessment made by the person responsible for the selection process.
  • Cover letter issued by the university: 20 points.
  • Resume: 30 points.
  • Student academic average: 50 points.
The sum of these criteria will result in the final score, which will determine whether or not the student is suitable for the job.
