Morante continues to win awards: winner of the Real Casino de Madrid

The 29th Real Casino de Madrid Bullfighting Awards of the San Isidro Fair 2025 have already announced their winners. As expected, Morante was recognized as the winner of the series for his two evenings combined, each better than the other. The Press Festival had the crowning achievement at the first of the evening. The Charity Festival had a spectacular and crowded main entrance.

From that first afternoon, the maestro was also awarded another prize: " El Quite de Riesgo " (Risk Quite), for the extraordinary and unexpected clean-body pass he made against his banderillero, José María Amores, on May 28th, the bull Seminarista, from the Garcigrande ranch. The best performance was performed by Borja Jiménez with the sixth bull of the afternoon of the In Memoriam bullfight on June 15. Continuing with the livestock section, Jandilla was recognized as the best ranch for the bullfight fought on the afternoon of June 5, in which Jiménez was also on the bill.

Víctor Hernández was the bullfighter's revelation , thanks to his performance on May 10 against the bull Busca-Oro, from El Pilar, fought in third place, from which he cut off a significant ear. The best sword thrust went to Emilio de Justo , who performed the supreme act with extraordinary purity against the bull Milhebras, from Victorino de Justo, from which he also cut off a trophy.

Gómez del Pilar also played with a fierce bull from José Escolar on June 3, for which he was recognized for his courage and valor . And the special mention for an afternoon to remember goes to Fortes , who impressed on his return to the Monumental on May 21 with the Araúz de Robles bullfight. Víctor del Pozo was the best subaltern for the extraordinary pairs he landed on the face of that fierce Escolar bull, which went to Gómez del Pilar in fifth place.
