Seibu Prince to Buy Ace Hotel Parent for $90 Million

Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire Ace Group International, parent of Ace Hotel and creative arm Atelier Ace, for about $90 million.
The company said the combined group would count 94 hotels with seven more in the pipeline.
Seibu Prince — which operates 86 hotels alongside 31 golf courses and 10 ski resorts — said Ace will sit within its hotel division and “retain independence in brand and creative direction.”
The Tokyo-based operator reiterated a long-term plan to expand to 250 hotels by 2035.
