Amelia Gray believes in setting boundaries and manifesting her goals—at least that’s how she approached a whirlwind spring/summer 2026 Fashion Month. The It girl just got back from Europe, and after eight seasons, Gray feels like she’s finding her groove. At 24, she’s becoming more minimalist in her consumption and style—staying in during Paris Fashion Week and embracing simple silhouettes like skinny jeans (something she never thought would see the light of day again).

This month, Gray also stars in Burberry’s latest outerwear campaign alongside Lucky Blue Smith, Tyson Beckford, Mona Tougaard, and Liu Wen. Each vignette shows the models as “tourists” learning tidbits about British history from quirky local characters, all of whom are played by Academy Award–winning actress Olivia Colman. For Gray, the entire experience was surreal—she had been journaling about it for years. “The Burberry check is almost like the flag of the U.K.,” Gray tells ELLE. “When you land in London and are at baggage claim, you see all the Burberry ads—I remember being 14 and thinking to myself how cool it would be to work for them and see my work on the walls.”

Below, the model opens up about what keeps her grounded during a hectic season, go-to backstage snacks, and working for her dream brand.

So, how was your Fashion Month?

My Fashion Month was whoa. I mean, every time it’s so amazing, and I find out all these new things about myself through traveling alone and being on the road for 28 days. It’s pretty incredible that I’ve done it. I think this was my eighth time.

Every season, you come more into your own as a model. Do you feel like you have the routine down now?

For sure. There’s also a sense of belonging. It’s like going to a new school: you’re the new girl, you don’t really know anyone, and you don’t really know what’s happening. And then, after eight times, you’ve kind of figured out the ropes—who you are and what you are willing to do. You work on setting boundaries, which is my new era—my boundary era.

Was there a specific boundary that helped keep you grounded this time around?

Yes, my boundary was to get as much sleep as I possibly could. Fashion Month is not only waking up at 5 A.M. and doing four shows a day. After you finish your shows, there’s an event, there’s a party, and more. This year, the boundary that I practiced was no events, which gave me more time to recharge and actually have more space in my body and my mind to create, both on the runway and in my photo shoots.

Behind the scenes with Amelia Gray for Burberry.

Is there anything you always pack or like to do while you’re traveling alone?

I have a couple weird ritualistic things that I do. I always have my journal with me. I find that even in moments where I don’t have that much time, just sitting down and writing out my thoughts helps ground me and make me super present. I’ve also started studying Kabbalah after watching Madonna’s interview with Jay Shetty, which has also helped me stay grounded in this crazy world. Then in terms of backstage shows, it’s really just my headphones, my protein bars, and my Chomps beef sticks because I need the energy.

Now that you’re back home, what are you watching or listening to while you unwind?

In terms of pop culture, post-Fashion Month, I can’t really take anything in. But I am watching reality TV—I just finished Love Thy Nader and now I’m watching Love Is Blind, which I’m loving. During the season, I watched Gossip Girl—a comfort show.

Also this month, you starred in a Burberry campaign. What was that like?

It was pretty crazy when I got the call about that job because it’s been on one of my manifestation lists for years. It’s funny because I went to the casting for the show a couple seasons ago, and then I went and did the fitting. I was super excited, but my look got cut the night before. So then when this came, it was kind of this full-circle moment—everything happens for a reason. Plus, the Burberry woman is so free, chic, and timeless.

Who are your favorite Burberry style icons?

I die for Naomi Campbell’s and Kate Moss’s style back in the day—especially at Glastonbury. So much started with British style.

Do you find yourself gravitating more towards that iconic 2000s boho or twee aesthetic?

I’m just loving more timeless pieces. I think maybe when I was 18 or 19, I wouldn’t have understood the appreciation for a Burberry trench the way that I do today, being 24.
