Lady Gaga Paired Hot Pants With a Leather Jacket for a L.A. Easter Outing

Some people wear pastels on Easter. Lady Gaga wore all black.
The singer was photographed wearing a black leather jacket layered over a matching T-shirt and hot pants while arriving at Los Angeles’ Soho House with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and her mother. She accessorized with knee-high socks, platform Mary Jane heels, large sunglasses, and a studded black baseball cap. Her engagement ring was also on prominent display.
In ELLE’s February cover story, Gaga spoke about how she is approaching style now. “I’m just trying to feel as in my skin as possible and not like I’m performing all the time,” she said. “I feel really at ease about fashion and clothes. For me, I’m at a place in my life where I just want to feel like myself in clothes. Whatever that means. So if that’s changing, I just want to go with that feeling.”
The sighting comes just after Gaga headlined Coachella on April 18, performing music from her latest album, Mayhem, alongside fan favorites like “Born This Way,” “Bad Romance,” and more. Her set was filled with striking visuals, including a choreographed chess match, dancers in skeletal costumes, and multiple costume changes that leaned into Gaga’s signature surrealism.
Gaga will hit the road this summer for her Mayhem Ball Tour that is set to begin on July 16 in Las Vegas. Reflecting on the album’s message, Gaga told ELLE, “Mayhem is about following your own chaos into whatever cranny of your life that it takes you to.”
