Günay Eraslan (77), who was seriously injured in the neck when a spiral machine slipped from his hand while he was trying to cut down a tree in the Alaşehir district of Manisa , lost his life.

The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Günay Eraslan, a father of five, attempted to cut down a drying apricot tree in his garden with a rotary saw. The saw slipped from Eraslan's hand, cutting his neck.
Investigation launched
Eraslan was taken to Alaşehir State Hospital by ambulance. His condition was critical, but he could not be saved. His death plunged his family into mourning. An investigation has been launched.
