Measles outbreak surpasses 1,000 confirmed cases in US (AFP report)

The measles outbreak in the United States has surpassed 1,000 confirmed cases, with three deaths recorded so far, according to a report by AFP based on public data released this Friday (9).

AFP has recorded at least 1,005 cases since the beginning of the year, 70% of them in Texas (south).

According to several experts, the number is greatly underestimated. They warn of the severity of this pandemic, to which the Secretary of Health, Robert Kennedy Jr., is accused of contributing by underestimating vaccines.
