The most popular destinations in Argentina for the 2025 Carnival long weekend

There is one week left until the long weekend of Carnival 2025 , one of the most anticipated by those who want to take advantage of the holidays to put together a good vacation or those who are planning a nearby getaway .
"In addition to the destinations most typically selected for this date, not so traditional destinations have been added to the top ten," says Martín Romano, CEO of the Atrápalo Argentina agency.
"More and more travelers are prioritizing visiting different places throughout the year and are choosing new places for the season that have a lot to explore in terms of tourism," he adds, noting that at this point in the month they already have the same level of reservations as they had the previous year.
"And the number of enquiries continues to grow , so we believe that we will be at least 10% above the sales level compared to 2024," says Romano.
At the Despegar agency, the manager of Lodging and Tourist Services Alejandro Festa says: "The XL Carnival holiday is an excellent opportunity to travel. We seek to encourage travelers to explore new places , less crowded but equally fascinating, where they can disconnect from the routine and enjoy the rich culture and beauty that is found just a few hours from the City of Buenos Aires."
