Videos. Guillaume Meurice, Solann, Miossec: the great promises of the cultural season in Bergerac

"The Departmental and Regional budgets are down, while the Agglomeration has maintained its budget," emphasizes Stéphane Dugué. "On the other hand, artistic costs have skyrocketed; getting names is complicated. This season may be less bling-bling, but we should hold our own."
Especially since for the first time, the cultural center will have to deal with the Étincelle space, which is due to open its doors on October 17. For the third consecutive year, the cultural center expects to exceed the 10,000 spectator mark.
1 Urban, classical, Irish: music in forceOn the musical side, there will be numerous and eclectic offerings throughout the year. After the unmissable New Year's concert by the Union musicale bergeracoise, we're expecting Miossec, the iconic Finistère singer who returned to the road in 2025 with his album "Simplifier," on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Also worth seeing are Les Négresses vertes, on Saturday, February 28. Coming from the punk movement, the group, created in 1987 in Paris, went back on tour after reforming in 2018 and still plays the great hits that shaped its success.

Benjamin Deroche
Solann, the 2025 female revelation at the Victoires de la Musique awards, will be performing at the cultural center on Wednesday, March 11. The young artist, who opened for Zaho de Sagazan, is one of the events not to be missed. Maras and Alexhino perform urban music, Doolin performs Irish tradition, and Mozart performs chamber music, along with Swiss pianist and singer Ladyva, who will headline Jazz Pourpre in May.

Hugo Thomassen
Another event not to be missed: “The Art of Not Saying” with Clément Viktorovitch
The cultural center is presenting "Coal in the Veins," the play that won five awards at the 2025 Molières, written and directed by Jean-Philippe Daguerre. A favorite of Stéphane Dugué's, this work, which will be performed on Friday, March 6, will immerse the audience in the heart of the mining villages and coal mines of the North.

Gregory Matzneff
We will also be able to see "The Midnight Raiders", the sequel to "The Voyagers of Crime" which features Jules Verne and Conan Doyle.
Another event not to be missed: "The Art of Not Saying" with Clément Viktorovitch. In this one-man show, the doctor of political science questions the place of discourse in our political life. HK will be at La Traverse for a musical theater format in "Poète en cavale" (Poets on the Run), Friday, November 14. The Trafik festival returns with Jimmy and "Pièce en plastique" (Plastic Piece).
The program gives pride of place to "up-and-coming" regional companies, for example, "Non et nom j'aime pas mon prénom", "Ask Alma" and "Ma peau d'âne" (My Donkey Skin), by Bois et charbon, based in Périgueux, to be seen on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m.
3 Dance and Comedy to Enjoy All Year RoundThe year 2025 will end with humor, Friday, December 5, with Félix Dhjan. The comedian, who earned his stripes at the Jamel Comedy Club, "plays with the modern world with a very unique style, a mix of laughter and reflection." Friday, January 30, we'll meet Guillaume Meurice and Éric Lagadec, who will present "Towards Infinity (But Not Beyond)."

Antoine Charlier
The astrophysicist and comedian offer a journey to the infinity of the universe, but also to stupidity... We will also be able to discover Constance in a "funny and moving" show.
On the dance side, the Z'évadées will present "Poudre aux yeux" on March 13; the Structures company will offer its performance "Impacts" on March 26, while "Insectes" will be given on May 22 by the Lady Rocks company.
