Tourism in Greater Villeneuve: visits on the program for the first week of August

Locals and tourists can board the Petit Tram, from Wednesday to Saturday, for 3 euros for adults and 2 euros for a reduced rate (children aged 3 to 14, students, etc.). Departures to Pujols take place in front of the Villeneuve-sur-Lot tourist office at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. (boarding at Pujols with a return to Villeneuve at 3 p.m., departing from the town hall car park), 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. On Thursdays, local storyteller Didier Larroque boards the bus (remember to book).
He's also the one to follow to learn everything about the Villeneuve bastide and the medieval village of Pujols, from the history to the legendary anecdotes of these emblematic places. He will lead a tour (two and a half hours) followed by a tasting of local products, Wednesday, August 6. Departure at 10 a.m. in front of the tourist office (10 euros per adult, free for children under 12).
Tastings and anecdotesThe following day, Thursday, August 7, Janouille , the famous "bastard of the good King Henry IV," will offer a dramatized visit to Dolmayrac, from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (free upon registration). Those who prefer the water to the road will have the choice. The Lou Vent d'Olt cruise boat returns to ply the River Lot this summer, with new storytelling tours in partnership with various partners of the tourist office (upon registration).
Finally, this Monday, August 4, departing from the Cale de la Marine at 3 p.m., a one-and-a-half-hour cruise is organized in partnership with the Pays d'art et d'histoire du Grand Villeneuvois (9 to 12 euros; tickets at the tourist office).
