Royan: The Summer Show evening will be held again on August 6

Royan Mayor Patrick Marengo noted no major incidents on Wednesday evening, July 30th, at the Kerimel esplanade in Kerveno. He therefore decided to maintain the next date, which will still serve as a test.

The Summer Show evening on Wednesday, July 30th, was intended as a test. The young people had been warned by the City. If the slightest misdeed occurred, these events, complete with DJs and gifts, would be canceled in August. Following behavioral problems, minors were asked not to consume alcohol or any other unauthorized substance before, during, or after the evening, to respect the environment by disposing of their waste in the bins provided, and to leave Royan peacefully, without shouting or causing noise.

"No major problems were noted this Wednesday, July 30. I have therefore decided to maintain the next evening on August 6, but the young people will have to continue to behave well. The same police force will be deployed. I am taking this matter one step at a time," warns Royan Mayor Patrick Marengo.

Although there were a few incidents, such as the theft of mobile phones or problems during the night caused by young people who had arrived from outside the city by train and had no means of transport for the return journey, the evening itself "went well, in a festive spirit."
