In Clion, the Craft and Rural Museum unveils its program

The Clion-sur-Seugne Craft and Rural Museum, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has announced its key dates for 2025.

The Friends of Times Past association invites the public to mark their calendars for several unmissable events this year. The Artisanal and Rural Museum of Clion-sur-Seugne, which welcomes approximately 3,000 visitors per year, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It invites visitors to step back in time and discover a collection of objects and tools depicting the customs and trades of our ancestors in the old presbytery, the park, and the lean-tos.

"We are available to the public to organize group visits for schools, rallies, festival committees, nursing homes, leisure centers, and associations," remind the members of the association that has managed the museum since 1975. With the help of the Departmental Council, the Community of Communes of Haute Saintonge, and the municipality, Les Amis du temps passé have dusted off and revived more than 2,000 tools. The most fragile are exhibited in seven themed rooms, while the most imposing ones enliven the 300 of lean-tos or the park.
