The Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony comes to Lyon cinemas

Couldn't make it to Cannes? Cannes is coming to you. On Tuesday, May 13, several Lyon cinemas will broadcast the opening ceremony of the 78th Cannes Film Festival live. This is a great opportunity to experience and enjoy the festivities from Lyon. The opening ceremony will be broadcast at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a screening of Amélie Bonnin's film Partir un jour at 8 p.m.
Among the Lyon venues rolling out the red carpet: the Pathé cinemas in Bellecour and Vaise, the UGC cinemas, the Comoédia (7th arrondissement), and the Lumière cinema in Terreaux. Tickets are on sale at regular cinema prices and can be reserved now.
Broadcast at 8 p.m., Partir un jour by Amélie Bonnin has been chosen as the opening film of this 78th edition. Presented out of competition, the film tells the story of Cécile, who, as she prepares to realize her dream of opening her own gourmet restaurant, must return to the village of her childhood following her father's heart attack.
