Travel platform Booking.com recently revealed the five Colombian departments that have been recognized in the 13th edition of the Traveller Review Awards as the most welcoming in the country for 2025. The list also includes cities or municipalities that stand out in each region.

Every year, the platform reveals the results based on more than 360 million verified customer reviews . These awards honor travel partners that offer exceptional hospitality and service. According to Booking.com, this year's most welcoming apartments are spread across various regions of the country.

For the second consecutive year, Boyacá has established itself as the most welcoming region in the country for its history, landscapes, varied tourist offer and gastronomy . According to the Traveller Review Awards, there are four main destinations that attract the attention of travellers: Villa de Leyva, for its architecture, milhojas and vineyards; Paipa for its hot springs; Duitama, where the Pueblito Boyacense is located; and Tunja, the capital of the department.

This department is part of the Colombian Coffee Belt, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO .
