These are the five most welcoming apartments in Colombia, according to Booking.com awards

Travel platform Booking.com recently revealed the five Colombian departments that have been recognized in the 13th edition of the Traveller Review Awards as the most welcoming in the country for 2025. The list also includes cities or municipalities that stand out in each region.
Every year, the platform reveals the results based on more than 360 million verified customer reviews . These awards honor travel partners that offer exceptional hospitality and service. According to Booking.com, this year's most welcoming apartments are spread across various regions of the country.
Boyaca For the second consecutive year, Boyacá has established itself as the most welcoming region in the country for its history, landscapes, varied tourist offer and gastronomy . According to the Traveller Review Awards, there are four main destinations that attract the attention of travellers: Villa de Leyva, for its architecture, milhojas and vineyards; Paipa for its hot springs; Duitama, where the Pueblito Boyacense is located; and Tunja, the capital of the department.

This department is part of the Colombian Coffee Belt, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO . Recognized for its biodiversity, it is an ideal destination for those who love coffee and nature-related experiences. In the region there are five places that stand out: Finland, with its colorful houses ; Quimbaya, famous for its themed attractions; La Tebaida, which has a great gastronomic offer; Salento, home of the Cocora Valley; and Montenegro, where the Coffee Park is located.

Cundinamarca is a destination that offers nature, culture and adventure. With mountain destinations and diverse climates, it is an ideal place for relaxation and ecotourism. The most welcoming places in this department are: Guatavita, La Vega, Anapoima, Ricaurte and Girardot. All offer lagoons, interesting stories and warm environments to welcome their visitors.
Magdalena With paradisiacal beaches, great biodiversity and a strong Caribbean cultural influence, Magdalena is a destination full of traditions and culture. The most welcoming places in this region according to Booking.com's award are: El Zaino, one of the entrances to the Tayrona National Natural Park; Minca, a nature destination in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta; Santa Marta and Taganga, ideal for diving.

Santander is a department located in the northeast of Colombia and is known for its adventure tourism, gastronomy and colonial towns. According to the platform, the most welcoming destinations in this region are Barichara, San Gil and Bucaramanga.
