IE University expands its scholarship program for studying in Spain: what programs are available?

The Spanish university IE University has redoubled its commitment to attracting excellent Latin American students by creating new scholarships and expanding existing ones, both directly and in collaboration with other organizations and foundations.

This has allowed scholarships for Latin American students to increase by 62 percent in 2025 compared to the 2024-25 academic year.
Furthermore, since 2024, approximately 72 percent of scholarships for the region have been awarded to women. The majority of scholarship recipients come from nine countries in the region, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru, although there are scholarship recipients from throughout the region.
Among the programs open to Colombian students for the upcoming academic year is the Laidlaw Women's Leadership Scholarship , which covers between 50 and 100 percent of tuition and is designed for women with leadership potential who are seeking to study for the International MBA or Executive MBA . This option seeks to eliminate financial barriers to application and is open to candidates from all over the world, including Latin America.

Another program offering full tuition scholarships is the IE – José Antonio Llorente Foundation Scholarship. It's for students with a passion for social impact, pursuing master's degrees in marketing, communications, or creative direction. Open to residents of Latin American countries where LLYC operates: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.
The IE – Princess of Girona Foundation scholarship program is also open to Colombian students, offering scholarships of up to 70 percent or 22,000 euros, respectively. This initiative offers support to young people with an international profile and high academic achievement from Spain and Latin America . It's ideal for those seeking a global impact.
