YouTuber Jazz Jennings Graduates From Harvard University

What, like it's hard?

YouTuber Jazz Jennings recently celebrated a major milestone in her career: participating in Harvard University's graduation ceremony as she wraps up her undergraduate studies at the school.

"I am so so blessed to have had the opportunity to attend this incredible university," the star of TLC reality series I Am Jazz wrote on her Instagram May 29. "Although I don’t officially graduate until the fall, I wanted to participate in the Spring commencement so I could walk beside my friends and take part in Harvard’s special traditional graduation ceremony."

The 24-year-old, who shared photos of herself sporting a cap and gown, added, "I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, mentors, and everyone who believed in me, supported me, and encouraged me to keep going—especially during the most challenging moments. Cheers to graduating and ONE more semester to go! #Harvard #classof2025"

And Jazz's family members were on hand to witness the milestone moment.

"She did it!" her brother Sander Jennings wrote on Facebook May 29, alongside a photo of himself standing beside his sister. "My sister Jazz graduated from Harvard."

The 27-year-old went on to praise his sister over her journey. "Over the years, I’ve watched Jazz put herself out there, explore new paths, discover what fills her with joy, and continue to blossom into the amazing person she is today," he wrote. "Through the ups and downs—Jazz, I’m so proud of your strength, growth, and resilience."

Indeed, Jazz's Harvard journey wasn't easy. After graduating from a high school in 2019, she announced she would be starting her studies at the ivy league university that fall. However, that October, she announced she would be taking time off instead for personal reasons.

"These past few years have been so full and busy that I realized I could use some time to refocus and recenter to be the strongest version of myself," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I am so grateful to have the support of my parents and Harvard in making this decision and look forward to focusing on some self-care and getting prepared to start this exciting next chapter in my life."

After her leave of absence, Jazz ultimately began her Harvard journey in fall 2021.

"I did it!!!" she wrote on Instagram the following January. "A few months ago, I was re-admitted to Harvard and completed my Fall semester. I couldn’t have done it without the endless support of family, friends, and fans! Love you all."
