Unforgotten's Victoria Hamilton life with doting husband and royal roles

Victoria Hamilton, a familiar face on our screens, has graced many major TV dramas. She's best known for her role as the beleaguered wife Anna Baker in the BBC drama Doctor Foster.
The 53 year old actress has been in the limelight for three decades, with one of her earliest television roles being Mrs Forster in Pride and Prejudice in 1995. That same year, she slipped into her corset once more to portray Henrietta Musgrove in Persuasion.
In 2016 and 2017, she featured in the first two seasons of the Netflix series The Crown, playing Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
This wasn't her first time portraying a Royal figure. She bagged the role of Queen Victoria in the 2001 TV production, Victoria and Albert, where she depicted the monarch during her early years.
Now, the star has joined the cast of Unforgotten, taking on the role of Juliet Cooper. Juliet is a history lecturer and faculty head at a London university, who faces a complaint from a student, reports Wales Online. She's a grieving wife and the mother of troubled teenage daughter Taylor.
The hit ITV drama recently returned to our screens, with Sinead Keenan and Sanjeev Bhaskar reprising their roles as DCI Jess James and DI Sunny Khan.
The first episode began with a spine being extracted from Whitney Marsh, signalling the start of a new case for Jess and Sunny's team at Bishop Street CID.
Victoria Hamilton's family lifeAway from the spotlight, Victoria cherishes her role as a wife and mother. She's hitched to fellow actor Mark Bazeley, whom she met serendipitously while sharing the stage in a 2005 rendition of Tennessee Williamss "Suddenly Last Summer."
The lovebirds, who sealed their engagement with the Mediterranean Sea lapping the shores of Greece, tied the knot in 2008 and have been blessed with two sons, Tam and Hal.
Gushing over her hubby, Victoria once confessed: "I got very, very lucky. I was lucky that I met the man I wanted to marry and have children with at exactly the right time. I'd had lots of career already. And it's just a very solid thing in your life. If work goes great, it's fantastic. And if it doesn't, you've got your family. I'm hugely lucky. Do I sound really smug? ".
Delving deeper into how she fell for a fellow thespian, Victoria disclosed: "When you're in a performance and the dynamics of the relationship are really working, it feels natural.
"So when you meet someone in an acting job and everything just clicks, you have to be aware of that danger. You need to spend time testing the relationship to see if it's really real, so it can work out. I think we probably both did that. When the job was over, there was a long period of, 'Is this actually real? '".
Unforgotten season 6 is now available to stream in full on ITVX. Episodes also air weekly on ITV1 every Sunday and Monday at 9pm.
