The Baldwins viewers all say same thing as new reality series airs and fans aren't happy

The newest reality show, The Baldwins, which follows the lives of actor Alec, his wife Hilaria and their seven children has officially landed on TLC.

The first episode released on Sunday (February 23) and showcases the family's lives together like never-seen before.

The first instalment featured the family celebrating their eldest son Rafael's birthday as well as heading for East Hampton for the summer.

The cameras also picked up Alec's reactions to his July 2024 trial following the 2021 shooting incident on the set of his film Rust.

Alec discharged a gun which was being used a prop, which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

He was charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal shooting but it was dismissed by a judge in July last year.

Fans have shared their reactions to the first episode and have flocked to Reddit to express their views.

One person penned: "I sat down to watch it to see what it was like and I fell asleep less than half way through ..I woke up and tried again and yet AGAIN fell asleep!"

Another viewer commented: "What content can they possibly supply for a whole season??!!This whole episode was about the seating logistics for their Hamptons road trip, stretched to an hour …"

Somebody else said: "They’ll use the walk to the coffee shop at some point, they’ll draw that out for the entire episode."

Yet another expressed: "I can't change the channel fast enough. I changed my dvr settings so I don't get 5 minutes of one of those shows at the end of 90 day.

"I don't know how ratings work, but I would hate to make it look like I'm watching them on purpose."

While a fifth added: "This show was a total snooze fest…neither of them are really likable or relatable.

"It’s just kids screaming and running all around the house, her trying to convince the masses she’s not inauthentic, and him lining things up with the OCD spin."

It seems like the jury is unanimous as the reality series currently has a 1.7 rating on IMDb from 37 reviews.
