Machine Gun Kelly Debuts New Mustache Look That Even Surprised Himself

Machine Gun Kelly is giving us tickets to his facial hair transformation.
The “emo girl” rapper—who welcomed a baby with ex Megan Fox earlier last month—shared that he's got exciting news going on in other aspects of his life as of late as well: He completed his upcoming album and he experimented with a new mustache look.
In a series of photos shared to his Instagram April 17, MGK (real name Colson Baker) posed shirtless while displaying his varying degrees of facial hair. In the second to last pic, the 34-year-old sported just a dirty blond mustache and long blond hair—a look he admitted was a surprise even for him.
"Album’s finally finished!" MGK wrote in the caption of the carousel. "I found out what i look like with a mustache. which one is more important?"
Ultimately, the musician decided his forthcoming project was more exciting. After all, he reshared the post to his Instagram Story, writing, "ALBUM DONE."
And while MGK may have decided his new album's completion takes precedence over his facial hair, his excitement for being a dad reigned supreme when he welcomed his new baby girl on March 27.
To announce the news, he took to Instagram with a black and white video of him holding the newborn's tiny hand, writing, "she’s finally here!! our little celestial seed."
And while MGK was quick to update the world on their little one’s arrival, he made clear that the newborn’s name will remain private—at least until Megan says so.
“Wait guys… her name isn’t Celestial Seed," he clarified of his original announcement on his March 31 Instagram Story. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we're ready."
And the "sun to me" rapper is embracing being a dad—although it isn't his first go around. He also has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson, with ex Emma Cannon.
In fact, he previously showed off pics of new “dad” era, which included an adorable snap of Casie on his back.
MGK isn’t the only one pumped up about his parenthood journey. Travis Barker—who shares son Rocky, 18 months, with wife Kourtney Kardashian, as well as kids Alabama Barker, 19, and Landon Barker, 21, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler—commented his own excitement under the photo series, saying, "Welcome to the club again my brother."
And the Blink-182 drummer has offered more than his well-wishes to MGK too—Travis also played a role in the birth of the new addition, as he helped MGK compose “the score of the birth" so that the baby was born into 432 Hz, which is believed to be a harmonious and soothing frequency.
"What an epic journey," MGK wrote on his Instagram story when he shared the original video he posted of the birth announcement. "Praise God."
