Kaley Cuoco Looks So Different With Dramatic Dark Hair
Kaley Cuoco's new look is making a big bang.
The Big Bang Theory alum debuted a jaw-dropping dark hairstyle while stepping out in New York alongside her fiancé Tom Pelphrey at the 2025 US Open Sept. 5.
For the outing, Kaley—rocking a plaid skirt with a cream-colored sweater vest atop a button-down shirt and tie—wore her hair in sleek space buns, which emphasized her more recent brunette balayage coloring and hid her signature dirty blonde tips to create a darker effect. And to top off her head-turning 'do, the 39-year-old accessorized with hoop earrings and brown-lensed sunglasses.
As for Tom—who she announced her engagement to in August 2024 following more than two years of dating—the Ozark actor kept it casual in tan trousers, a white T-shirt and a suede brown jacket. To complete his ensemble, the 43-year-old donned coordinating sunnies and deep chocolate boots.
Kaley and Tom's appearance at the US Open marked the second glamorous date night of the month for the couple, who share 2-year-old daughter Matilda.
One day prior to their tennis-filled excursion, the duo walked the red carpet at the premiere of the HBO miniseries Task, which Tom stars in alongside Mark Ruffalo and Emilia Jones. For that outing, Kaley kept her hair down in loose waves—which put her ombre blonde ends on full display—while she posed in a black dress beside her partner, who sported a chic brown suit.
And it was only fitting that Kaley was on hand for the premiere, as Tom credits the Flight Attendant actress with helping him score his role as Robbie in Task.
"We always read each other's scripts," he told Extra in a Sept. 4 interview. "I always love to hear what she thinks. And I get to read hers and we always talk about stuff. It's a nice bonus of doing the same thing."
That's why when the screenplay for the crime drama landed on Tom's desk, he turned to Kaley first.
"This one, she read first and she loved it," he explained. "And she was absolutely right. It was all on the page. It jumped right off the page. As soon as she read it, I read it, we knew it was gonna be special."
