Jodie Turner-Smith Gets a Pep Talk From 5-Year-Old Daughter Juno
Jodie Turner-Smith is taking advice from her daughter.
The actress, 38, shared a sweet clip of Juno, 5, hyping her up before she left the house for a Tory Burch fashion event.
"before i drove off, my daughter said ‘remember: BE FASHION,’” Jodie wrote in the caption of her May 14 Instagram post. "did i hit the target, @toryburch?"
Their mother-daughter bonding moment also included a precious embrace, as Jodie shared a pic of Juno giving her a hug and kiss on the cheek, as well as several pictures from the event.
The Anne Boleyn actress—who shares Juno with ex-husband Joshua Jackson—now has joint custody with the Dawson's Creek actor, 46, after they finalized her divorce last month. But despite their recent split, both actors are on the same page about their love for their daughter.
Earlier this year, Jodie gushed of Juno’s incredible growth as she prepares for kindergarten.
"She's just blossoming into such an intelligent, young, bossy, little one," Jodie told E! News in March. "She's been reading since she was three, so she already hit that milestone. She's about to go to kindergarten. I mean, that's a big milestone."
"I kind of want to cry," she said, "but I'm also very excited for her growing up, because I just need to get to hang out together more."
Jodie also shared that while her daughter is growing up fast, she's still a bit too young to fully understand her parents' lives as celebrities.
"I don't think she has a concept of fame," Jodie shared, "but she knows I get...you know, when I was getting dressed today, she was like, 'Oh, see, you're being fancy tonight, huh?'"
Josh shared a similar sentiment with E! News just a few days later.
“I don't know that she really knows what famous is,” he told E! News in March. “She knows I do make believe for a living, and she is totally uninterested in what I do. Like, completely.”
And Josh also shared his pride in his baby girl.
“My God, at that age, every couple of days she's a new kid,” the Dr. Odyssey star said. “Truly, the big milestone has been this entire year. She started school.”
He added, “She's so proud of herself.”
