Jeff Bezos Ditches Bald Look, Debuts Hair After Wedding
Jeff Bezos may be priming for a new look.
After all, the Amazon founder—who started shaving his head in 2013—stepped out with noticeably more hair on July 10.
While walking around the Allen & Co. Media and Technology Conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, Jeff sported fuller gray hairs around the sides of his scalp. He was joined by his new wife Lauren Sánchez Bezos, who he married in late June at a multi-million dollar, star-studded wedding in Italy.
While the 61-year-old typically maintains a bald look, he is no stranger to changing up his appearance in other ways. In fact, he created an online frenzy in 2023 when he debuted a more muscular physique on the cover of Vogue.
"He’s on a whole different level than I am," Lauren, 55, shared in the accompanying story, explaining how she "cannot do the same exercises" as Jeff when they workout together. "He is a monster in the gym."
So much so, he "stole" Wesley Okerson—a fitness trainer who's worked with Tom Cruise, Gerard Butler and Sacha Baron Cohen—from her, according to the former Good Day L.A. anchor.
"Jeff is extremely dedicated to his workouts," she told the Wall Street Journal in 2023. "I mean, you have no idea. He really puts in the work."
As for Lauren, she kept to her usual workout routine in the months leading up to her nuptials. And aside from avoiding alcohol and limiting her salt intake, she largely left her diet unchanged as well.
“I like food,” she told Vogue in June, sharing that she only lost three and a half pounds in preparation for her wedding. "Food is such a big part of life. I’m Latin!"
On June 27, Lauren walked down the aisle in a Dolce & Gabbana gown inspired by the wedding dress Sophia Loren wore in 1958's Houseboat. Featuring a high neckline, snatched corset and hand-appliquéd lace, the custom number took 900 hours of work to create.
Meanwhile, Jeff opted for a classic black tuxedo. As Lauren put it to the magazine, "He’s very simple. He likes fashion and he looks good, but it’s not something he thinks about like I do. He just looks good in everything he wears."
