Grey's Anatomy star's dark and 'binge worthy' series now streaming on Prime Video

A Grey's Anatomy star's 'dark and binge worthy' series is now available to stream on Prime Video.
All episodes of the hit show Helluva Boss is now available on the retail giant's streaming service. Previously only accessible to watch on Youtube, the fan favourite series now has a new home for UK audiences.
Based on the web series created by Vivienne Medrano, the series expands the animated universe that began with Hazbin Hotel also streaming on the platform. Starting from this Wednesday (10th September), the first two seasons have been added to the library.
A special bonus episode titled Mission: Zero will also be available exclusively on Prime Video for 45 days before also being available on YouTube. A further two seasons are in production and will also make their way onto Amazon's streamer first.
Set in the underworld's bustling city of Hell, Helluva Boss follows Blitzo and his assassination startup I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals). The company's mismatched employees take on human-world contracts while navigating their own chaotic lives. The series balances outrageous violence with workplace comedy and explores Blitzo's complicated situationship with demon prince Stolas.

Helluva Boss stars voice actors Brandon Rogers (Class Acts) as Blitzo, Richard Horvitz (Invader Zim) as Moxxie, Vivian Williams (Grey's Anatomy) as Millie, and Erica Lindbeck (ThunderCats Roar) as Loona.
The cast also includes Bryce Pinkham (Mercy Street) as Stolas and Alex Brightman (Hazbin Hotel) in guest roles. The Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus also makes a special appearance in a recurring role for the first season, as does Erika Henningsen who played Ginny in Netflix comedy The Four Seasons.

Having started life as an online show, it does not hold enough professional reviews to register a score on website Rotten Tomatoes. However, many fans have shared their thoughts online, with several stating it is one of their ultimate favourites.
One person claimed: "Helluva Boss is the type of show every adult animation should aspire to be. It doesn't rely on cheap laughs and shock humour like Family Guy and South Park. The writing is mixed with extensive backstories, lore, and character development. Far different from many adult cartoons."

Another added: "This is a truly spectacular display of what can happen when you give adult animation power. The characters are darkly humorous, and the antagonists always seem fresh and more unique then the last."
Trying to give an idea what to expect, one fan posted: "If you're new to the show: It is Dante's Inferno plus Disney animation plus Deadpool. It is a real treat to watch something produced so boldly and enthusiastically. Vivziepop, the voice actors, and everyone who works on this project clearly love it, and that energy infuses every single one-liner, every single scene."
Meanwhile, someone else said: "Darkly hilarious and binge worthy. Had me hooked from the pilot episode. The animation, songs and story lines are superbly done. It has range and depth that I find absolutely stunning coming from an independent creator. It is everything missing in similar attempts from the “bigger” more “well known” creators."
