Forum Members Review the ‘Absolutely Dreadful’ Prada Menswear Spring 2026 Collection

Day three of Menswear Milan Fashion Week granted us the Prada Menswear Spring 2026 collection. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons have been co-creative directors of the Italian fashion brand since 2020, with their latest collection marking the duo’s tenth menswear offering designed in unison. Inside the Fondazione Prada’s Deposito spave, guests like Harris Dickinson, Tosin Cole, and Kai (of the K-pop group SuperM) assembled within the vast show space setting as birdsong and cowbells came from the speakers. Miuccia and Raf seemingly sought inspo from Rineke Dijkstra’s arresting 1993 portrait of an adolescent boy on the beach in Odessa, Ukraine. “Calm, nice, gentle,” said Miuccia Prada (via Vogue).
“Say what you want about Rick Owens or CDG menswear these days, at least they’re still having fun. This Prada collection, though? Absolutely dreadful. I wish I could throw the whole thing into a bottomless pit and forget it ever happened. Totally hopeless.” [Kanzai]
“Trash.” [Demna]
“Fashion’s rage bait. Nothing more, nothing less, the existence of this is as pointless as Demna’s final years at Balenciaga. At least with Demna’s stuff it’s possible to buy a runway piece, this was designed just to push basic nylon merch.” [perhydrol]
“As always the best look is worn by Miss Prada herself.” [youthinasia]
“Beyond awful. The diapers, the hats that look like they are some craft project from an elementary school doing a class on recycling, the gaudy sweatpants and the reheated leftovers from the hideous women’s fall show…this collection makes as much sense as the ramblings of a madman or, in this case, those of a pseudo intellectual high on his own farts.” [YohjiAddict]
“The cut of those pants is criminal.” [Nimsay]
“What a sad-looking summer the Prada boy is having.” [Cocteau Stone]
