BLACKPINK's Jisoo Brings the Gorpcore Trend to Summer 2025 With Classic Sneakers

Amid a season of rose-tint trends, Jisoo of BLACKPINK is bringing the gorpcore aesthetic to summer 2025 with a classic sneaker option.

On Instagram, BLACKPINK members shared snaps of their rehearsals for tour, which kicked off in Seoul, South Korea over the weekend. On stage, Jisoo, a brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger, was spotted wearing a white cropped tank top from the Tommy Girl collection. It’s a quintessential summer piece, that she took up a notch, styling it with a gorpcore edge.

The singer opted for long black cargo shorts, white half-calf socks, and a pair of black Salomon sneakers with some eye-catching silver detailing. Salomon sneakers are a staple piece for a gorpcore look thanks to their chunky silhouette and practical drawstring laces that you won’t have to bunny ears and retie through the day, ideal for a hiker. She completed the sporty look with a baseball hat over her mermaid-like wavy black hair, another trendy summery touch.

The gorpcore trend can lend itself to any season and Jisoo's look proves that perfectly. In contrast to the guava girl and princess nails trend, gorpcore offers more versatility in color and also silhouettes if the whimsical, flowing fabrics of a guava-filled tropical vacation don’t feel practical for everyday wear.

Of course, Jisoo did include a pop of color (or two) in her look. Aside from her pink lip gloss, which is presumably Dior, she also had her custom black and pink microphone, perfect for her return to the stage.

BLACKPINK will soon be taking the tour to the United States, so we’re sure there will be plenty more OOTD goals-worthy looks to come from Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa this summer.
