Amazon's Outdoor Sales Are Insane—Save on Yeti, Garmin, and More

Listen, nobody's more patriotic than me. Through it all I believe in the American project, and I'm genuinely in awe at all the amazing biomes, natural beauty, and products we've got between these two oceans. A Yeti cooler in Death Valley, a Yeti bucket in Wisconsin, or a Case Trapper anywhere something needs to be cut, I find these to be truly beautiful concepts.
One thing I hate about America is we don't do August off. Moving from summer to fall needs more than putting away the swim trunks and pulling out the sweaters. I need 30 days to go sit outside and enjoy this place, the way they do in Europe. But my corporate overlords have decided that's not possible. My workaround is to save money on gear, that way the lack of paid time off doesn't really matter. If that's of interest to you, you're in luck. Here, I'm giving you all the best outdoor deals you can fid on Amazon right now.
First and foremost, the Yeti M15. The model appears to be getting phased out in favor of other easy-to-carry carry coolers, but I'm a fan of this one. It's just enough for a quick day out for one or two people. I love it as a beach day or fishing spot cooler. For 20 percent off, it is the best deal of the day. Buy one before they're all gone.
Besides that, there's a decent sale on an Arc'teryx Beta shell, but elsewhere I've written about the Arc'teryx sales happening over at REI. There's also some solid deals on pocket knives I like, with special shoutout to that classic Opinel number eight. There's an Abu Garcia rod and Revo X reel combo, which if you know anything about spinning reels is a solid deal. The Pfleuger President reel I shout out is a more beat-it-up model.
Beyond that, it's standard stuff, camp stoves and chairs and whatnot. If you're looking to get outdoors in the next few weeks, grab something. Then, turn on that out of office bounce back, turn off the phone, and get out into nature.
