Prostitution operation in Bursa: 4 people arrested
Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch Directorate Morality Bureau teams started technical and physical surveillance on the gang that was determined to be forcing women into prostitution.
Suspects named MA, S.Ö., TG, OG, HA and MP, whose addresses were determined, were detained in simultaneous operations.
During searches of the suspects’ homes, jewelry and cash worth 2 million lira were seized. Nine women, including 1 foreign national, who were determined to have been beaten and forced into prostitution were rescued.
After the procedures at the police station, the suspects were brought to court and MA, S.Ö., TG and OG were arrested, while HA and MP were released on condition of judicial control.
