Amateur skier Yasin Çapoğlu, who wanted to spend the weekend in his village in Rize, decided to have a different experience when he encountered heavy snowfall. Çapoğlu put on his skis to reach the market, which was about 1 kilometer away, and left the slope to go shopping.

Yasin Çapoğlu, who went to Ortapazar village for a weekend holiday in the city, encountered heavy snowfall. Wanting to have a different experience than the village he reached by off-road vehicle, Çapoğlu decided to take his skis out of his vehicle and go to the market, which was about 1 kilometer away, by skiing. These moments of Yasin Çapoğlu putting on his skis and throwing himself down the slope were recorded by passersby with mobile phone cameras. The images shared on social media became the center of attention.

He had a different experience

Çapoğlu, who stated that he had a different experience, said, “When we heard that the weather would be nice this weekend, we decided to go to our village. When we went, we encountered heavy snowfall. There were some minor deficiencies at home, but instead of going shopping by car, we wanted to have a different experience by taking our skis with us. We tried to reach the market by sliding down from a high point on skis. Our friends who saw that moment joined us and took a nice video. This incident, which happened completely by chance, turned into a pleasant memory for us.”
