Nicole Kidman ends 19-year marriage: Friends announce 'divorce party' move

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, musician Keith Urban, at the end of September. The couple, who had been separated since June, reportedly broke the news.

"Everyone from Reese to Sandra is making the invitations, ordering freedom banners and party supplies. They want Nicole to feel excited about her future again," a source said.

The same source added, “Celebrating the end of an old chapter and a new beginning in a room full of handsome men… Perfect for her!”

Nicole Kidman's divorce petition cited "severe incompatibility," while allegations surfaced that Keith Urban was having an affair with an unnamed young female musician. Sources close to Kidman commented, "It's difficult to accept that he's been with someone else so soon."

The couple were last seen together at a FIFA World Cup match in Nashville in June.
