Istanbul's shores were invaded by jellyfish!

Citizens walking along the Sarıyer Beyoğlu and Beşiktaş shores of the Bosphorus encountered jellyfish covering the water surface in the coastal areas.

Citizens who went down to the coast to fish in Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu and Sarıyer said that they had been coming to the same area for 2 months and that they saw pollution, mucilage and jellyfish in the water.

Citizens who stated that they have difficulty in catching fish said, "When the fish gets close, it goes away after 1 hour. We cannot catch fish here because of the filth of the sea. We want it to be cleaned as soon as possible. The same problems exist not only here but also in other places. We want those problems to be solved."
