Fear has no benefit in death

We hear the term “illness” in the political arena. Illness means disease. If your illness is looked down upon, humiliated, it becomes “disgrace”. We have a belief that whoever looks down upon it will suffer. Those who are expected to be exemplary and at the peak of politeness and etiquette do not use these words. If children use them, they are intimidated by putting pepper in their mouths. In Sufism, those who prefer being humiliated and despised as a way of life are called Melami. This is the essence of the Melami order. In the public language, the expression “being malamat” comes from here.
Anyway, let's not get carried away and touch anyone's Zulfi friend. Most of those who are severely ill with Covid-19 are left with symptoms they call fear, anxiety, delusion, obsession, and anxiety. They lose sleep all the time, and they keep spinning in a whirlpool of strange, strange thoughts.
I wish all fears were on the side of love. Let me turn this unpleasant subject into romance with a poem by Ümit Yaşar:
There is the weight of the earth in my heart
The howling of all the winds in my head
The highest mountains wave within me
My sorrows grow like seas
Wherever I look, it's night and dark.
A thousand and one ambushes await me at every corner
I have drunk the times, century by century
The dregs of past ages in my glass
My eyes tell you about your longing
I want you in both worlds
Not a slice of bread, not a sip of water
Who knows where this train will stop?
Just be you, the rest is nothing to me
There is a fear inside me, the fear of dying without you
Psychiatrists say that the feeling of fear emerges as a kind of natural reflex state of human nature. They add that it is at least as old as human history and is an important factor that triggers many emotions.
Think about it, you are cured of the disease, you are full of hope. You have come face to face with death, your hands, arms, and feet have been cut off, you have experienced surrender and hopelessness. The most basic emotion that changes the line between hope and hopelessness is fear, which draws you in.
I knew that fear is a universal emotion. You can all be consciously or unconsciously caught up in various fears. But if you can't prevent it from happening before an emotional situation or an immediate external threat occurs, it is defined as anxiety.
There is also phobia. I said that fear is an emotional reaction we feel against external danger. Phobia is also a type of fear. It occurs against certain situations and objects that are not feared.
It was the time when our generation was living their rosy years. I used my poems as a mirror to reflect the feelings I wanted to say but couldn’t. Because I was a shy person by nature. Love and falling in love were probably my phobia. At that time, I named my poem “Fear”:
“Amongst all those flowers,
As if someone comes along and says 'I',
Spring spring looks at you
You can't take your eyes off of him,
These are complex emotions,
It flows from your eyes to your heart
You become the center of attention and you can't escape.
-'I was interested in you at first!'
That is now special for you
'The flower is beautiful on its branch'
You can't bear to tear it off
Timid, timid, childish,
You are filled with the desire to smell,
Desire to touch and kiss to the fullest,
-'Then, I began to desire you'
Color has no importance, as long as it reflects,
As long as it's his scent
Far away from the artificial,
Living in the same place and time,
You would certainly enjoy being around him,
- 'I certainly liked you.'
Let some see it this way, some see it that way.
She is your flower, she is your lover,
In your eyes, she is always more beautiful than the beautiful.
It's a newly opened bud that you can't get enough of looking at,
You overcome obstacles and reach it,
You will love its leaves and thorns,
-'I think I love you, beautiful flower'
There is attraction, stronger than gravity,
It is the mysterious light that you are a moth of,
It tears your heart and makes it bleed,
You'd think it was a velvet caress, not a thorn.
If love is a poisonous flower,
You drink the poison as a cure.
- 'I'm afraid of falling in love with you.
I know fear is of no use in death,
"As long as this is not a dream"
My dear friends, I wish you to live in fearless days. Do not forget that our National Anthem begins with "Do not be afraid!"
