Asuman Krause can't enter her own home! Court rejects decision

Famous TV presenter Asuman Krause had wanted to move to her own home in Etiler during the renovation process following flooding at her Uskumruköy home. However, she lost the lawsuit she filed to evict Serpil U., a tenant living there, due to insufficient evidence.

According to Hürriyet , Krause then filed a second lawsuit, claiming the lease had expired for 10 years and demanding the tenant's eviction. However, the court rejected this lawsuit as well, ruling that the lease must have been in effect for at least 12 years to be evicted.

Utku Özkan, the lawyer of tenant Serpil U., made a statement on the matter and said, “Asuman Krause made a mistake in calculating the timeframe, and the case was dismissed.”
