OGM and Star TV gave their commitments, the investigation was concluded

The Competition Board has completed its investigation into OGM Production and Media Services Inc. (OGM), which operates in the field of production of creative content such as TV series and films, and Startv Media Services Inc. (Star TV), which operates in the field of national television broadcasting.
In the statement made by the Competition Authority, it was reminded that the investigation was discussed within the scope of the contract signed between OGM and Star TV, which prevented Star TV from working with a producer other than OGM and OGM from working with a television channel other than Star TV.
The investigation into allegations that the undertakings violated the Law on the Protection of Competition was concluded with the Board's acceptance of the commitments submitted by the parties. The statement included the following: "With the Competition Board's acceptance of the commitments submitted, Star TV will be able to work with producers other than the OGM, and with television channels requested by the OGM. In this context, the restrictive effects of the agreement containing exclusivity and the relevant commitments have been eliminated."
