Two medical facilities will be built in St. Petersburg for 5.5 billion rubles.

Two medical facilities will be built in St. Petersburg for 5.5 billion rubles.

The diagnostic center building will be constructed on Turistskaya Street. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of December 2027. The contractor will receive 99.8 million rubles in 2026, with the remaining 2.589 billion rubles to be paid in 2027.

According to the design documentation, the center will be a six-story building with a basement. The first floor will house the radiology department and the inter-district centralized clinical diagnostic laboratory, the second floor will house the radiology department and a specialized centralized bacteriology laboratory, and the third floor will house the functional diagnostics department and the inter-district centralized clinical diagnostic laboratory.

The fourth floor will house a functional diagnostics department and a healthy lifestyle center. The fifth floor will house a storage area for immunobiological drugs and administrative offices, while the sixth floor will house a block of reserve and technical rooms.

The medical waste management area will be located in the basement, where facilities will be set up for washing and disinfecting containers and carts, as well as receiving and temporary storage facilities for non-disinfected medical waste. The administrative offices, as specified in the project, will include a telemedicine room, a statistics office, and a conference room for 148 people.

The functional diagnostics department includes, for example, ECG rooms, respiratory diagnostic rooms, and a shielded cabin. The endoscopy department will include a gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedure room, as well as a temporary ward for post-endoscopic patients (with three beds). The healthy lifestyle center will include a preventative care room, a physical therapy room for group classes, as well as rooms for bioimpedance analysis, oral hygiene, and spirometry with stress testing.

An adult outpatient clinic will be located on Leninsky Prospekt. The building will be multi-level, with a rectangular, five-story central section. Multiple entrances will be provided: the main entrance to the clinic and the entrance to the emergency department. The composition and layout of the clinic's premises have been approved in accordance with the functional and technological requirements for an outpatient clinic.

The contractor must complete construction of the facility by October 28, 2027. Funding in the amount of 160.6 million rubles is allocated for 2026. In 2027, 2.641 billion rubles will be allocated for construction.

In mid-October 2025, the St. Petersburg Capital Construction and Reconstruction Fund placed a tender for the construction of a blood transfusion station in the Balkan Municipal District. The initial (maximum) contract price was 7.928 billion rubles. The contractor is required to complete the station on Oleg Dundich Street by the end of May 2028.

The land allocated for the station includes the unfinished buildings of a 600-bed infectious diseases hospital, as well as an administrative and amenity building and a 100-bed treatment building. The design allows for the use of the structures of these buildings.
