Ovchinsky announced the creation of a residential area in the Sokol district according to the KRT

Vladislav Ovchinsky, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy, part of the Moscow Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction, announced that two sites in northern Moscow are planned for redevelopment as part of the Integrated Territorial Development Program (ITD). A draft of the corresponding decision has already been posted on the official Moscow government website.
"Two 5.64-hectare sites will be redeveloped in the Sokol district. One of them, 4.68 hectares, will become a new residential quarter. The area will be landscaped and provided with convenient roads. Public and commercial facilities will also be built here, housing shops, bank branches, fitness centers, and offices," the press service of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy quoted Ovchinsky as saying.
The project will also include another 0.96-hectare site, which will house the building of the Sokol District Housing Authority. Once completed, the project will create over 1,000 new jobs. Investment in the development of the site will exceed 29 billion rubles, with an annual return to the budget of 485.7 million rubles. The entire implementation cycle, from start to completion, will take six years.
The press service of the Department of Urban Development Policy clarified that the sites slated for redevelopment are located at 4 Svetly Proezd, near Leningradskoye Shosse, in an area with well-developed infrastructure.
