The Russian Ministry of Education has set the dates for summer holidays for schoolchildren in 2025. According to the federal schedule, the holidays will begin on May 26 and last until August 31, RIA Novosti reports.
"Summer holidays for students in grades 1–8 and 10 will last at least 8 weeks. The end of the school year is set for May 26," the ministry said in a statement. For students in grades 9, the end of the school year will be determined annually depending on the schedule of the state final assessment.
The Ministry of Education also noted that schools can use the federal schedule in its original form or develop their own, taking into account federal recommendations and regional characteristics.
