Airport in Russian region temporarily shuts down

In order to ensure the safety of aircraft flights, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the operation of the Saratov airport. This was reported by the official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artem Korenyako, on his Telegram channel.

“To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been introduced at Saratov Airport,” the statement said.

Korenyako added that the airport staff and aircraft crews are busy ensuring the necessary safety measures. The exact reasons for introducing the restrictions were not announced.

Earlier, MK wrote that all Aeroflot Group companies are operating in a maximum reinforcement mode and at a heightened operational readiness level during the festive events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, in accordance with the standards for domestic civil aviation enterprises.
