Yellow September: free or affordable therapies for the population

Yellow September: free or affordable therapies for the population

Yellow September draws attention to the importance of suicide prevention and mental health care. However, despite this scenario, for many people, counseling with a specialized psychologist and therapy sessions are still inaccessible , especially due to the cost.

Therefore, Metrópoles has put together some information about psychology services that offer free or more affordable services.

Still, it is worth noting that there are not always vacancies for immediate start, but anyone who is looking for and needs help, whether for themselves or a family member, should not give up.

Yellow September is an awareness campaign about the importance of suicide prevention

Many universities offer free or reduced-cost psychological counseling through teaching clinics, where students are supervised by experienced professionals.

Yellow September is an initiative of the Center for the Valorization of Life (CVV), the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry
