After protests, Israel continues attacks on the Gaza Strip

Israel continues its attacks on the Gaza Strip this Monday, after a Sunday marked by strong protests across Israeli territory against the advance of the war.
According to Haaretz, on the night of Sunday to Monday the Israeli army launched airstrikes against the Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, near the Al-Shifa hospital, an infrastructure already partially destroyed by previous attacks.
An estimated 2.5 million Israelis participated in protests against Netanyahu's government, demanding an end to the war, a ceasefire, and an agreement to release hostages. Around 300,000 people gathered in central Tel Aviv alone.
At least 30 protesters were arrested for public disturbances, including blocking roads and burning tires. Several hostages who have since been released also joined the protests—some of which took place in front of the homes of some of the Israeli ministers.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused protesters of allowing Hamas to continue the “horrors of October 7.”
