This view by the sea delighted the tourists. So many seals have not been seen here for a long time

A video has gone viral showing a huge group of seals on the seashore. They are all lounging on the sand on a sunny afternoon, looking happy. Tourists sailing in the area on a special ferry also had reason to be happy. They captured the true wonders of nature in their photos.

Seals on the Baltic Sea delight tourists

Seals captured on the Polish seaside can be seen, among others, on posts on the Facebook groups Hallo Mierzeja or Rejsy Na Foki – Morskie Safari. The recordings were made in the morning on May 3 and 4 at the mouth of the Vistula River to the Baltic Sea. Tourists who were at that time on the Vistula Spit or in the vicinity of the Mewia Łacha reserve and Sobieszewska Island had more than one opportunity to witness such an image.

Internet users also liked everything. They did not hide their amazement, although there were also accusations that because of the seals there were no... cod in the Baltic Sea. However, defenders were quickly found to respond to such attacks. "The cod was finished off by feeders, what will this cod eat now? The cod is as thin as it has ever been." - we read. As for the seals themselves, they were described as beautiful, wonderful and unique. "I respect such migrants" - we read in one of the comments. " Beautiful animals" - someone wrote further.

Seals can often be admired

It is worth remembering that all the mentioned ideal places for observation are located only half an hour's drive from Gdańsk - this large city can be easily reached by train, for example from Warsaw. Seal cruises are organized all year round. You can use them primarily in Mikoszewo, at ul. Gdańska 104, next to the Świbno Ferry dock.

Although the animals mentioned need peace, observation cruises are organized with respect for the freedom and privacy of the seals. Specially trained people are responsible for this. Seals can only be viewed from specific distances, and you must also be quiet and follow the rules. It is worth remembering that all species of this mammal are protected. When we meet a seal on the seashore, we cannot approach it.
